Church Partnerships

Church participation is a vital component to our ministry. We believe churches who make it part of their mission to reach out to others are more effective and contagious in showing non-Christians God's love in a real way. Moreover, we understand every church is unique and cannot give in the same capacity. So, we've created several ways for your church to share God's love with others.

Adopt a community

Churches may become a monthly visionary member by giving as a congregation to a specific focus area. Monthly contributions will go directly to helping that area in ways specific to their needs. We'll send your church group updates on what is happening in that area and how your donations are promoting the growth of that community. We also encourage congregations a group of volunteers to visit that area.

Projects

Smaller groups within churches, Sunday school classes, or other groups of individuals may be interested in gathering ongoing donations to work towards funding the building of a well, conducting light construction projects, or a host of other projects. Wells, in particular, are a great project to help fund. They provide a sustainable resource for entire communities and continue to give for years. The cost of most well projects is $5,000.

Visionary trips

Pastors, elders, and missions directors who are interested in partnering with One Vision International and who would like to visit a focus area to learn more about the specific needs of the people are welcomed to join a visionary trip. Unlike service-based trips, these trips are designed to give you a first-hand look and educate you on the culture, history, and current needs of the area. These trips are three to four days in length and can be scheduled over a long weekend.

Wish list

Churches may also elect to fulfill a need under our acquisitions wish list. This tangible list gives groups a specific need. Churches or groups can contact One Vision at (865) 579-3353 or email info@onevisionintl.org to receive more information about items on our list.
